Subject: yarn choice for baby's lovey
Security: Public
I'm planning/hoping to knit some sort of security type blanket thing for my newest baby.  But I can't decide what would be a good yarn choice as far as fiber goes.  I'm trying to choose something from my stash.  I was thinking either a soft wool (if I can find one, I tend to find almost all wolls scratch to an extent, even merino), cotton (Bernat denim style), or microfiber (Lion Brand microspun).  Would any one be a better choice than another?  Any thoughts?

i would go for the cotton because its a natural fibre and more easily washed

that's what i was leaning towards. the microspun occurred to me because it's so soft and machine washable. but if he's going to be chewing on it like i think he might i'd rather it be a natural fiber.
